Building upon the original Benedito's persona, “Deluca’s” represents the tougher, stoic side of Benny. “De Luca” refers to the ancient district of Southern Italy which coincides with the ancient appeal of Thomas Jefferson’s design throughout C’ville. Plus, Deluca is such a cavalier sounding name.
Benny Deluca’s opened spring of ’14 at the start of West Main Street’s wild development. We are located at the center of West Main, this promenade between the Corner and the Walking Mall, or, perhaps, the Champs-Élysées of Charlottesville.
