The most prolific attribute of Benedito’s persona, and hard-work, is represented in the Cantiere’s name which means “dockyard” in Italian.. Newport News knows all about ship-building, as it is the original home of shipbuilding and dockyards. Located near one of the biggest shipyards in the world, Cantiere’s is one of Benny’s “worksites” for our huge 28’ pies. Cantiere’s is now open and located in Downtown Newport News, behind City Hall. We will be serving up giant, delicious slices and HUGE 28” pies for all of our pizza lovers in Newport News!
